edeptive:COM™ e-commerce

e-commerce provides a highly configurable catalogue fully integrated within the edeptive™ Content Management System. This integration means that you have the same level of control over the treatment of your products as you do with the other items of content on your site.

Products can be presented in virtually any format. Product attributes may vary for each and every category of product, giving you fantastic flexibility combined with the capability to offer searches and/or product comparisons based upon those attributes. The Catalogue has been used as an effective means of managing and presenting information about almost any type of product. Applications have varied from homes, to vacuum cleaners to training courses.

e-commerce includes full 'shopping basket' functionality and enables payments to be made either online or against an existing trade account.

Personalisation of your product Catalogue for individual visitors, based on their profile, can be provided if the Catalogue is combined with Personalisation. For example, you may wish to tailor the products or product categories shown to visitors from different industries.

The e-commerce module provides shopping basket functionality and online payment through a Payment Service Provider such as WorldPay and can be configured to support virtually any form of online purchasing. For example digital assets (pictures, files etc.), course or conference attendance, access to a private 'paid-for' area of your site can all be handled by edeptive™.
