  Workflow with Contributors' and Editors' permissions defined by site section and six status levels (expandable) for content. Automatic email notification of editors of content awaiting their review. Full version history (date/time and user stamped) with the ability to view and reinstate previous versions. edeptive:CMS™ can be used from any location where there is an Internet connection and browser. Templates can be created and edited using Macromedia Dreamweaver. Content may be authored using MS Office or any other Windows application.
  
  
• e-commerce enabled
  edeptive:CMS™ has an optional, feature rich, fully integrated e-commerce module. This module may of course be used to support a 'traditional' online catalogue and ordering system. However, because it is an integral part of the edeptive:CMS™ system the e-commerce module also makes it possible to support online payment for anything. This makes it easy to implement fully secure payment and ordering facilities anywhere on your web site for any service, product etc. for which you wish to make available online. 
  
  
• e-Goverment Interoperability Framework (e-GIF) Standards compliance
  edeptive:CMS™ fully complies with all e-GIF standards. In particular edeptive:CMS™ uses XML as its primary mechanism for data integration and content syndication.
  
  
• e-Government Metadata Standard (e-GMS) compliance
  eGMS is actually a subset of the e-GIF standards. edeptive:CMS™ fully supports the Metadata requirements of e-GMS. Metadata can be assigned to absolutely any content irrespective of the content type and to sections of the web site. Metadata may be made a mandatory field if required. edeptive:CMS™ conforms to the Dublin Core Model and provides full browser functionality.
  
  
• GCL (Government Category List) compliance
  edeptive:CMS™ allows any number of Categories to be defined and these categories can be created with a parent/child, hierarchical structure if required. Any content, irrespective of type, site section, registered visitor etc. can be assigned to these categories. Edeptive provides standard GCL definitions as a standard part of its product installation, thereby saving time and costs.
  
  
• Accessibility Standards compliance
  On 1st October 2004 the final stage of the goods, facilities and services provisions of Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) come into force. edeptive:CMS™ is fully compliant with the provisions of services or websites laid out in this Act. edeptive:CMS™ creates XHTML to conform with level one W3C accessibility standards. In addition Template Variations may be used to make available different versions (or 'skins') for the web site to deliver your site content as a text only version and/or high contrast, large font version for the partially sighted.
